Full team participation – reason to escape

The day that I have not experienced yet.  Next time I will rather jump out of window and run off. I cannot understand how I could manage it last year with even fifteen boys.  Though I was more strict at that time or what is more likely I am just getting older 🙂 It would be easier if they do their work, but some of them came just so to play an make a fun. Fortunatelly I have  Lego technic as a first aid for this cases. Its only disadvantage is that it attracts also other  guys that normaly work. Martin brought his Netbook and asked me to install SketchUp on it. So we did, but it was even more interesting  and finaly only two brave men were able to resist the temptation and continued with their work 🙂

My compliment to Jakub. After slow start he was so focused on his work that in short time he succeded to make the most advanced model.  There is a boat cabin computer model by Martin Tomek on the picture followed its practical representation done by Jakub. Isn’t it nice?

There is a model of lifeboat on the next pictures. Its SketchUp modelling last about ten minutes. The orange „Octopus“ on one of the pictures is the lifeboat unfolded hull.  We print it out and glue it on 0.5 polystyrene, then cut out and turn into the shape within next fifteen minutes. (OK – add half an hour to peel off the glue out of the fingers) 🙂

I have to say again – isn’t it nice?

Dominik, having the example above has tried to make his own lifeboat. Excellent!  It is not difficult and it also confirms that our decission to make alvays the SketchUp model first was good.

Vojta`s Arigas has been significantly improved as well.  Picture shows the comparison of computer design and reality.
