Hardware

We spent some money last week for RC set Multiplex Cockpit MM. It is a used one, but still very good.  Together with the RC set I bought also three receivers. So we do have enough receivers now for all our boats. They are seven channel receivers and one of it is PPL synthesized which is quite luxury for us 🙂

I hope we will start building models that would utilize more channels, for instance for switching on various additional functions /lights, water guns, radar turning etc/

I came to knowledge that we will have to establish another course. Not boat modelling at this time, but electronic to support us. Rare soldering we use to do is not adequate to our needs. It gives us just a courage to solder one or two wires to the motor contacts. I learned it after we tried to make our own motor driver Nautilus. I had explained boys how to solder and let them work   😉 Finaly I decided to finish all regulators myself.. using their creations as a semiproduct to save my time.

First three samples work! (just coolers are missing) I have to say that Nautilus authors, Svaťa Hubáček and Miloš Kowol did a realy good job! Regulator is simply perfect! It provides very smooth start in both directions and nice programming functions. Excellent! I am pretty sure we will abide with this regulator for a long time. It is really good and cheap. Material costs up to CZK 400   Plus labor cost which, of-course,  is not going to be considered in calculation 🙂 because at least half of it was done by boys themselves.

Latest news of our hardware  is Raytronic C10 charger.   I would like to buy two, but I decided to wait for practical experience with this type of charger before the next buy.
